Privacy Policy

Plain English summary: We collect only what we need to deliver the job, send you confirmations, take payment, and follow up afterward. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We use a small handful of trusted services (Stripe, Calendly, HubSpot, Google Workspace) that have their own privacy policies. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

1. What we collect

The data we collect depends on how you interact with us.

WHEN YOU VISIT THIS WEBSITE

• Standard server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) records IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are not used for tracking or advertising.
• No third-party tracking or advertising cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking. This site is a static page; it doesn't set tracking cookies.

WHEN YOU CALL, TEXT, OR EMAIL US

• Your phone number, name, and the content of the message.
• If you send photos or describe a job, that information.

WHEN YOU BOOK A SERVICE (via Calendly or directly)

• Name, phone number, email address.
• Service address (where to deliver / pick up).
• Job details (type of debris, materials, equipment, dates).
• Booking confirmation, scheduled date, and service notes.

WHEN YOU PAY US

• Payment is processed by Stripe (online card payments) or Square (in-person tap-to-pay). We do not see, store, or transmit your full card number. We only receive a payment confirmation token and the last 4 digits of the card.
• If you request an invoice, our bookkeeping (QuickBooks Self-Employed) stores transaction records for tax purposes.

PHOTOS AND VIDEO (optional, with consent)

• If we feature your job in marketing (our website's Recent Work gallery, social posts, etc.), we ask you to sign a separate Photo & Video Release. We do not publish photos that show you, your house number, or your license plate unless you separately authorize that.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service you booked. Coordinating delivery, pickup, billing, landfill receipts, and follow-up.
• To communicate. Confirmation emails, day-before reminders, post-job thanks and review requests, and replies to your questions.
• To stay in compliance. Tax records, insurance documentation, dispute resolution.
• To improve service. Aggregate, non-identifying analysis of bookings (e.g., "how many cleanouts per month") — never tied back to a specific customer.
• For marketing, only with your separate consent. Featuring your job in published photos. Asking you to leave a Google review. Sharing a referral. We do not add you to any email list without your permission and you can opt out at any time.

3. Third parties we use

We rely on a small set of trusted vendors to operate the business. Each has its own privacy policy linked below.

We do not share your information with vendors beyond what's needed to deliver the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not provide it to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks.

4. How long we keep it

• Customer records and job files: 7 years (IRS tax-record retention period).
• Photos with a signed release: for as long as we operate the business, unless you revoke the release in writing.
• Server logs: 30 days, then auto-deleted by Cloudflare.
• Email correspondence: retained in Google Workspace per our standard email retention.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• See what data we have about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data (subject to our 7-year IRS retention requirement for transaction records).
• Stop using your photos in marketing — revoke the photo release at any time in writing. We'll remove from active channels within 30 days.
• Opt out of any marketing email or text.

6. Security

We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect customer data:

• All payment processing handled by PCI-DSS compliant vendors (Stripe, Square). We never store card numbers ourselves.
• Email and CRM accounts protected by 2-factor authentication.
• Cloudflare provides website-level DDoS protection and SSL/TLS encryption.
• Physical records (signed agreements, paper invoices) are kept in a locked file at our St. Petersburg office and digitized when filed.

No system is 100% secure. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you within the timeframe required by Florida law (Florida Information Protection Act, Fla. Stat. § 501.171).

7. Children

This website and our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Florida-specific rights

Florida residents are protected by the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), which requires reasonable measures to protect personal information and prompt notification in the event of a breach involving sensitive personal information.

If you reside outside Florida, your state may provide additional rights (e.g., CCPA in California, CDPA in Virginia). We honor verifiable requests from residents of all U.S. states. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request — [your state]."

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our business or applicable laws change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on our website's home page for at least 30 days.
